Last Night was Date Night

I took my wife to The Melting Pot for our anniversary…  9 years!!  I won’t go on about how time flies, but it seems like just yesterday I was picking her up for our (my first and only) blind date.  The Melting Pot is not exactly my favorite restaurant, but it is Kari’s. So I go because she loves it so much….the sacrifices I make .  I have to admit last night was great… I even enjoyed the food.  Our waitress server talked us into getting the the Mojo style broth instead of the usual oil…. man that was some good stuff!! She may have converted me into a lover of fondue.

If you are ever in the Roswell Ga. area and in the mood for some fondue, go to the Melting Pot and ask for Jeanette (a.k.a. Big Red… that’s what she told us).  She made a special dinner for me and my wife Great! She created and prepared a special drink just for Kari.  She brought us out some strawberries covered in chocolate for our anniversary.  A real touch of class.  THANKS JEANETTE!
